246. Together, Forever

The stars are falling from up high

to come down and play with us.

Dancing under bright moonlight,

for the first time, I kissed the sky.

We chased them all through the night,

and we never thought to look back.

We knew not to dwell on the past,

so we ran towards tomorrow’s light.

We spun ourselves round and round,

and made a wish upon a dream cloud.

We wished for this dream to last forever,

to take us on a never ending adventure.

The stars continued to fall towards us,

and the moonlight looked so much brighter.

I could see the place that we once loved,

as our dreams took us ever so higher.

I could not think of a better reality

than one that was once a distant dream.

I could see it, more now than ever,

that dream and reality would have us together,

forever.
