308. Near And Dear To Your Heart

There are things in life that you wish for,

And there are things that you may live for,

But for whatever reason, it seems,

The good things that always happen,

happen when you’re out there chasing your dreams. 

Of course, you can’t run from the bad,

Although you may wish you had,

Those lessons are there for a reason.

And eventually, you’ll come out of it.

And you’ll begin a brand new season.

The world is a very, very frightening place,

But that doesn’t mean that you won't be safe.

All you need is that one special person,

That you may hold near and dear to your heart.

And you might say to yourself—It’s a start.
