240. I Love Her So

Published on 5 September 2017 at 20:52

I could stare into her eyes forever on.

Like two emeralds, they shine so bright.

Their glow rivals even that of the moon’s,

as they shine brightest in the night’s sky.

Beautifully, her brown hair flows,

like autumn leaves in a cool breeze.

Oh, how I love her so, so very much.

My heart stops whenever we touch.

I believe I have died countless times,

in which I’ve been brought back to life,

simply because of you, for you are my heart,

and I will live forever, with you in my arms.

And I will write you lovely poetry,

for that is how my heart speaks.

And it speaks ever so loudly for you,

and it says, I will always love you.

Your smile, I’ve fallen madly in love with.

And I just love when your lips lie against mine,

in which we can forget about the world,

and stare endlessly into each other’s eyes.

It truly is a magnificent feeling, to be in love.

To have found my other half, my turtle dove,

to know what it’s like to have a home,

and to know that I’ll never have to be alone,

...because I love her so.
