The sky bleeds as the earth breeds,
And with her sacrifice, she tends to our needs.
She works her magic, plays her part,
And if you need her, she’s never too far.
Even if you’re lost or hopelessly confused,
She will guide you—even if you refuse.
She’ll take your hand, never leading you astray.
And she’ll guide you towards finding your own way.
And although you may not see her there,
She’s all around us. She’s everywhere.
I love her, this beautifully precious Earth.
I love her for all that I am, and all that I’m worth.
For the moments I’ve had, the chance to live.
For all the trials I’ve faced. All the sacrifices I’ve had to give.
It left me stronger, braver. And I could love myself again.
There was no longer a need for me to pretend…
I could love myself again.
I could live with myself again.
And I could be myself again.
But for all of that to happen,
I have to learn to love myself again.
