024. A Way Out

Published on 18 December 2014 at 23:30

I feel a pain,

a pain so deep,

that brings me down,

down to my knees.

Always so very weak.

The sorrows,

they keep growing.

Always in pain,

in pain as we speak.

But I am still hoping,

always.

To find a cure,

a way out.

But there is nothing.

Only doubt.

But on my journey

to the ends of the world,

I had soon come across

a young and beautiful girl.

So, I simply called out,

I called out to her,

and said what I’d rehearsed

All my life,

Even though this pain,

It still hurt

‘Help me, would you?’

‘I think I’ve lost my way’

‘Pray for me, would you?’

‘I think today is the day.’
